The Carman Memorial Hospital (25 beds) provides quality acute care services to the community and surrounding area. Its programs and services include family medicine, surgery, diabetic education, physiotherapy, obstetrics, dental surgery, palliative care, a dietitian service and an in-house pharmacy. Adjacent to the hospital is a five-doctor medical clinic and two dental clinics. A ‘Meals on Wheels’ program operates Monday – Friday from the Carman Memorial Hospital. Currently, the Carman Hospital and nearby Boyne Lodge (personal care home) employ approximately 190 staff.
