Grand Manan Hospital is a 8-bed facility serving an island population of 2,600. The hospital provides primary care services, 24-hour emergency care, ambulance transfer, paediatrics and family medicine. Grand Manan residents benefit from teleradiology services and other telehealth applications are being developed. The facility has recently undergone a one million dollar renovation that upgraded the entire facility and supports the delivery of interdisciplinary primary care.
