The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) serves as the provincial referral center for specialized hospital services. The hospital is a multi-service acute care facility that provides both community services and specialized provincial services, and supports both in-patient and outpatient care.
The QEH was established in 1982 and is a 274 bed hospital. The hospital is dedicated to improving the health of Islanders by providing leadership in acute care and specialized services.
