There's no question: CT helps us save kids' lives!
But, when we image, radiation matters!
Children are more sensitive to radiation.
What we do now lasts their lifetimes.
Oneida Healthcare Center has taken the Image Gently pledge to provide the best care for our smallest of patients. From our radiologists through our clinical staff, we pledge:
* to make the image gently message a priority in staff communications this year,
* to review the protocol recommendations and, where necessary, implement adjustments to our processes,
* to respect and listen to suggestions from every member of the imaging team on ways to ensure changes are made and
* to communicate openly with parents
