| SCH Lose To Win Final Program |

In the course of the past four months, three members of the Sunbury Community Hospital Healthy Woman program have lost a total of 68.5 pounds, 82.75 inches, and had an average of 9.9% total weight loss.
Monday, June 29, Healthy Woman members and community members gathered for the final presentation in the Lose to Win- Healthy Living Series. During the evening, Dr. John Pagana, a family medicine specialist in Sunbury, discussed how to maintain a healthy lifestyle, including annual mammograms, and being aware of blood pressure and cholesterol levels and discussing those levels with your primary care physician.
At the end of the evening, the three Lose to Win participants recapped their experiences, their goals, and their accomplishments since February. During the results portion of the evening, all three ladies were recognized for achieving different milestones: Lori Seebold was recognized for losing the most weight; Kelli Tyler was recognized for losing the most total body fat; and Lenora Springfield was recognized for losing the most inches.
Prior to arriving at the evening’s festivities, the ladies were treated to mini makeovers from staff at local salons: Distinctive Hair Designs, Selinsgrove; Enlighten Salon, Sunbury; Flip Salon, Selinsgrove; and Sculptures Island Salon, Sunbury.
Three local fitness facilities have partnered with Sunbury Community Hospital for the Lose to Win program: Champs Gym & Fitness, Shamokin Dam; Pulse Fitness for Women, Shamokin Dam; and the Greater Susquehanna Valley YMCA, Sunbury Branch.
Area businesses have partnered with Sunbury Community Hospital in the presentation of the Healthy Woman program. Partners include: Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation, The Daily Item, Susquehanna Valley Women in Transition, Geisinger Medical Center, J. Kleinbauer, Inc., Scheib Law Office, Family Practice Center, Greater Susquehanna Valley YMCA, Susquehanna Bank, Capital Blue Cross, and Cancer Care of Central PA.
