North Cambridgeshire Hospital has been meeting the health needs of the local population since it was established in 1873. It is now under the umbrella of NHS Cambridgeshire under the provider services section - Cambridgeshire Community services.
Day Rehab Services open Mon-Fri. Providing restoration of function, capability, independence and social wellbeing. Trafford Ward - 24 bedded slow stream rehab/care of the elderly ward with respite and palliative care beds. Visiting times 2pm to 4.30pm and 6.30pm to 8pm Monday to Sunday. Minor Treatment - 8.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday (except bank holidays), 9am to 5pm on Saturdays, closed Sundays. X-Ray - 9am to 4.45pm Mon-Fri Pathology - 9am to 5pm Mon-Fri Phlebotomy service of outpatients and ward in patients Outpatients - 9am to 5pm Mon-Fri Consultants & specialists from Queen Elizabeth Hosp work along side a dedicated team. Macmillan and Hudson Palliative Care Centre - 5 days a week providing day care days and treaments such as blood transfusions. A reflexologist 3 x week and other services such as bereavement support and eduction of other professionals working in palliative care.
