Northamptonshire Healthcare Trust was established on 1 Apr 01, bringing together Rockingham Forest Trust (north of the county) and Northampton Community Healthcare Trust (south). It provides mental health, learning disability, sexual health and drug and alcohol services for the county’s population, estimated at 630,000. The Trust's budget is over £90million and employs almost 2000 staff.
