As a not-for-profit community hospital, John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital provides a comprehensive range of services to meet patients' needs in ways few other hospitals can match.
In 2004, the hospital became the first in the Phoenix area to be granted Magnet Recognition, the highest national designation for excellence in nursing care, by the American Nurses Association. North Mountain Hospital also was the first medical facility in the Phoenix area to reconfirm Magnet status, in 2009. The designation places the hospital among the nation's top 4 percent of hospitals for nursing care.
