** Mission and Values **
The mission of The King’s Daughters’ Hospital and Health Services is to improve the health of our patients through care, service and education.
We strive to meet this commitment in a variety of ways, guided by our Culture of Excellence. The Culture of Excellence is built on five pillars: Service, Quality, People, Access, and Value.
Here is how we relate those pillars to our patients and visitors
* Service—Our goal is to provide you with exceptional service. This means
asking if you need something or if you have questions. It means helping you
feel as comfortable as possible, and assisting your family or friends who
come to visit.
* Quality—Our goal is to provide you with exceptional medical treatment and
expertise. We want you to be confident that our nurses, physicians, and all
staff members have the latest training and greatest respect for your well-
being.
* People—Our goal is to be united by our common purpose to help you achieve
better health while honoring your privacy and respecting you as an
individual.
* Access—Our goal is to help you easily obtain the services you need. This
involves making our physician offices easy to find and easy to use. It
involves staff members who extend you courtesy and dignity.
* Value—Our goal is to provide excellent care at reasonable prices. It also
means we value your time and respect your commitments outside of your visit
here.
