King's Daughters Medical Center (KDMC) is a locally controlled, not-for-profit, 385-bed regional referral center, covering a 150-mile radius that includes southern Ohio, eastern Kentucky and western West Virginia. KDMC offers comprehensive cardiac, medical, surgical, pediatric, rehabilitative, psychiatric, cancer, neurological, pain care, wound care and home care services in one convenient location.
Established in 1899, KDMC currently ranks fourth in the state of Kentucky in terms of overall admissions, and, with approximately 3,900 team members, is the largest employer between Charleston, W.Va. and Lexington, Ky. King’s Daughters also has one of the busiest Emergency Departments in the state of Kentucky.
