The Aroostook Medical Center, a not-for-profit organization, is the leading provider of healthcare services in northern Maine. We are driven by our mission to restore, maintain and improve the health of our friends and neighbors in a compassionate and professional environment. Our active medical staff consists of over 60 physicians and other healthcare practitioners, plus additional consulting and courtesy staff. The Aroostook Medical Center employs over 1000 people.
Each of our facilities is unique. The combined effort of our employees ensures that you'll receive the highest quality, most compassionate care possible. The Aroostook Medical Center is governed by a local volunteer Board of Trustees, so you can be sure that you're needs are being addressed by those who know them best - your friends, family and neighbors.
The Aroostook Medical Center is an affiliate of EMHS. Our affiliation with EMHS allows us to offer a wide range of healthcare services not typically available in rural communities.
