Wynyard Hospital is an integrated facility that supports acute, respite and long term care. Wynyard Hospital was renovated in 2001. A new long-term care facility (Golden Acres) was built at the same time an added to the hospital. The hospital has 8 beds. There are also 59 long-term care beds in the integrated facility, with a staff of approximately 100 employees.
