| InHealth introduces latest graduates to the 2009 Graduate Trainee Programme |

InHealth’s latest graduate trainee recruits enjoy a break during the induction session at the start of their graduate training programme. This year’s graduates will be based at Nottingham City Hospital, Princess Royal Hospital, Sussex, Barnet General Hospital, Frimley Park Hospital and Sandwell General Hospital, 5 of InHealth’s MRI units located throughout the country.
The programme allows recent graduates to learn the MRI modality through a combination of structured practical experience and taught theory. Each graduate trainee is supported by a workplace coach and professional mentor and they have their own personal training and development programme. Through formal courses, e-learning and mentoring the graduates fast-track their skills in MRI.
The Graduate Training Programme is an excellent way for newly qualified radiographers to fast-track their career in MRI. Following the success in recent years, InHealth plan to double the intake in 2010.
Arti Shah, based in Barnett MRI unit, a graduate from the 2008 Graduate Training Programme said, "I really enjoyed the training I received and am sure it will help develop my career. The mentoring and support from my colleagues was outstanding."
Louise Ballinger-Finch, InHealth’s Human Resources Director commented, "The InHealth Graduate Programme continues to be a great success and means we can continue to invest in the future of the profession and support young people when they graduate and support them through their career.”
