| Benefis sports performance specialist earns new certification |

Dan Groux, with Benefis Health System, has earned certification as a Strength Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
This highly specialized certification recognizes sports professionals who are proficient in proper strength and conditioning practices for training athletes in a team or individual setting. Groux joins more than 15,000 nationwide who are certified as Strength Conditioning Specialists.
Groux joined Benefis in 2004 as coordinator of the RESULTS program for sports performance training and injury prevention. Groux earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology in 1999 from Montana State University-Bozeman, where he studied on a track scholarship. He is a graduate of Cascade High School.
Groux also holds his Dartfish Video Coach Certification, which qualifies him to analyze athletes for correct form using the Dartfish video system. And he holds a Pneu-FAST Program certification for overspeed training on the treadmill. Groux can be reached at 406 771 4788.
