| Hospital Hustle 5K Another Great Success |

The Rochelle Community Hospital Foundation's 5K Walk/Run, the "Hospital Hustle", turned out to be an enjoyable event despite the relocation from Rochelle Middle School to Atwood Park on Saturday morning, June 20. The bike path near Rochelle Middle School was mostly under water from storms on Friday so the race was relocated to Atwood Park.
Overall winners were Kevin Smith (age 14) of Steward with a time of 19:34.1, and Sarah Schumacher (age 21) of Franklin Grove with a time of 22:25.7.
George Tillett of Roscoe, won a lava lamp as the "Grooviest Hustle" participant and also won the male 65-69 category with a time of 22:51.9. A total of 95 participants completed the race.
Sponsors of the event included: First National Bank, BEE Designs, Robert & Carol Elliott, Guest Legal, P.C., Bruce & Sue Peterson, Rock River Valley Blood Center, TechniCut Custom Engraving and The Pension Specialists, Ltd.
Funds raised from this year's will go to remodel the RCH Outpatient Infusion Room which will better serve our patients by providing easier access from the Second Street entrance, more privacy, and a more comfortable and inviting atmosphere.
