| Union Memorial Earns 2008 100 Top Hospital Award |

BALTIMORE, MD – March 30, 2009 – Union Memorial Hospital has been uniquely identified as Maryland’s only hospital to be named a 2008 Thomson Reuters 100 Top Hospitals: National Benchmarks award recipient today. It’s the second time Union Memorial has been recognized for this over-all hospital achievement. Thomson Reuter has previously ranked Union Memorial one of the nation’s top cardiovascular hospitals five times.
