Community Hospital, O'Leary was founded in 1957. Today it is home to a wide array of services including 13 acute care in patient beds which provides palliative care, convalescent/restorative care and acute care services as defined by the house physician. The Urgent Care Centre provides assessment, diagnostic and treatment services for medical problems that require prompt attention but are not life threatening. Other services offered to the public within this modern facility include: laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, physiotherapy, nutrition counselling and occupational therapy. Other programs include: Home Care and Support, Public Health Nursing and the Diabetes Education Program.
