History Of Kamineni Hospitals - Vijayawada
Started in 1995 by the visionary entrepreneur and philanthropist, Kamineni Suryanarayana, the Kamineni Group envisioned establishing a super-specialty hospitals that provides state-of-the-art medical care to the people of the city; while also creating improved opportunities for practIcal medical education. Years later, under the guidance of Dr. Shashidhar Kamineni, land for four big projects were acquired for construction of the Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences and Kamineni Hospitals – in L.B. Nagar, King Koti and Vijayawada.
Since the establishment of Kamineni Hospitals in 1995, to the start of Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences and Kamineni Diagnostic Centres, there emerged the concept of combining research, teaching and patent care – a model that led to a national and international reputation for excellence in complete patient care. Today, Kamineni Hospitals is recognized as one of the best hospitals in the country, attracting national and international patients.
