John Eastwood Hospice is a partnership between the John Eastwood Hospice Charitable Trust which own the building), and Nottinghamshire County Teaching Primary Care Trust. The Hospice provides a base for the specialist palliative care services across central Nottinghamshire.
Patient care is aimed at maximising quality of life, involving a number of palliative therapies including complementary treatment. Care is delivered using a multidisciplinary approach including medical and nursing staff, Chaplaincy, social workers, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, pharmacist, clinical psychologist and complementary therapists. Care also includes support and advice for family members and carers.
