The Audubon County Memorial Hospital is a 25 bed, acute care facility established in 1952. A major inpatient addition to the facility opened for service in January of 1998. The original patient wing was remodeled and updated in 2003 so that the Outpatient Specialty Clinics could occupy this portion of the building. In the summer of 2004, a south parking lot was added to provide increased parking for patients and staff. The spring of 2005 saw the opening of a 2-bay enclosed ER Ambulance Garage, complete with decontamination shower. The ACMH Life Fitness Center and a new Medical Records Suite were completed in January of 2008. Along with providing acute care services, the hospital has the capability of providing skilled level of care services. Audubon County Memorial Hospital provides a variety of both inpatient and outpatient services.
