Our professional, caring staff is here to serve you, with both Inpatient and Outpatient services!
Inpatient services are fully able to address your usual hospitalization needs, including both acute hospitalization and recuperative stays. If you've been in another hospital for some reason, and you'd really rather be at home - tell your doctor that you want to come home to Broadwater. Generally, two phone calls will do the trick - one from your doctor in the other city to your doctor here in Townsend, and one from the nurses at the other hospital to our nurses. And a room for you here is nearly always available.
Outpatient services include Laboratory, Radiology (X-ray), and Physical Therapy. All you need is a prescription from any Montana-licensed Physician, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant!
Our hospital is fully licensed and certified by the State of Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services, and accredited by the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
*The term "Critical Access Hospital" denotes a rural hospital that provides 24-hour emergency services for it's community.
