Carlsbad Medical Center is a full-service, 127-bed acute care community hospital opened in 1977 on the current campus at 2430 West Pierce Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico. CMC provides top-flight medical, surgical and restorative patient care as a regional medical resource -- carrying on a proud legacy of our community's prior facilities.
Celebrating our 30th year of community service, the medical center completed a $12 million expansion in 2006-07, including a new, larger ICU, state-of-the-art digital imaging system, 64-slice CT scanner, and comprehensive outpatient diagnostic center located on-campus.
CMC medical staff and Pecos Valley Physician Group services to Southeast New Mexico include 24-hour emergency department, ICU, interventional cardiology, vascular/general and outpatient surgery, neurology, sleep studies, stroke care, oncology, women’s health/obstetrics, hospitalist program, diabetes self-management center, specialized nursing, and full-service outpatient rehabilitation therapies at one location.
