| DCH MEDICAL STAFF DONATES CASH AND TOYS TO CHRISTMAS FUND FOR AREA CHILDREN |

The Medical Staff of Dearborn County Hospital donated $500 and a box overflowing with new toys to the Dearborn County Clearinghouse Coalition for Children’s Christmas Toys.
“As an organization, the Hospital feels it is appropriate to support such a worthwhile endeavor,” stated Stephen Eliason, M.D., Chief of Staff at Dearborn County Hospital. “I am sure our contributions will be put to good use in helping to make Christmas a little more joyful for children who otherwise would receive very little for the holidays.”
In addition to the Medical Staff’s check, individual physicians and hospital employees personally contributed new toys and/or cash to the fund.
This year the Dearborn County Clearinghouse Coalition for Children’s Christmas Toys provided gifts for approximately 700 children from over 270 families. The Coalition covers the five Southeastern Indiana counties of Dearborn, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland and Franklin. In most cases, funds are utilized in the county from which they are donated.
Many thanks to those who donated to the Clearinghouse this year and fulfilled the needs of children who came to them with a Christmas wish!
