Pen Bay Medical Center's Department of Radiology recently achieved American College of Radiology accreditation for their Siemens Somatom Sensation CT scanner.
The American College of Radiology is the oldest and most experienced imaging accreditation body in the nation, administering accreditation programs to assess the quality of imaging facilities since 1963. The ACR sets national quality standards to continuously improve patient care.
The ACR accreditation of the CT scanner demonstrates ongoing commitment on behalf of Pen Bay X-Ray Associates and Pen Bay Medical Center to providing the safest and best quality care possible for the patients of Midcoast Maine.
