History Of Ridge Meadows Hospital
** History **
Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation, incorporated in 1985, has raised, over the years, more than $18 million to purchase healthcare equipment, education and research for Ridge Meadows Hospital as well as Baillie House residential care, Gardenview Pavilion, McKenney Creek Hospice, home and community health, health promotions and prevention, mental health and addiction services departments in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows. The equipment purchased replaced worn or outdated devices or is new equipment necessary to support new technology and medical procedures.
The new Ambulatory Care Department was completed and began service in January 2009 completing the new Emergency and Ambulatory care wing project. The Foundation is very proud of the role it played in raising $3 million towards its total construction cost of $20.9 million.
RMH Foundation is a non-profit registered charity investing in better health through community partnerships. Together we are changing lives and saving lives at Ridge Meadows Hospital, Baillie House, McKenney Creek Hospice, Gardenview Pavilion, Home & Community Care, Health Promotion & Prevention and Mental Health & Addiction Services.
