6th Annual Boots And Blue Jeans Gala |
Date : - 10/09/2009 |
On Friday, Oct. 23, the Henry W. Grady Health System Foundation will host its 6th Annual Boots and Blue Jeans Gala at the American Cancer Society Center. This year’s event will be hosted by Co-Chairs, Dr. Lawrence “Dusty” Sanders, Dr. Rhonda A. Scott and Dr. William R. Sexson.
The urban cowboy chic event is expecting 250 in attendance and anticipates raising $200,000 to benefit the Safety Net Mission of Grady Health System. The Safety Net Mission allows non-insured and under-insured citizens of Atlanta to receive care. The baby born prematurely has care. The student who needs primary care has care. The hourly worker who does not have employer-sponsored insurance has care. The senior who needs monthly prescriptions has care.
Cowboys and Cowgirl’s will sip on cocktails provided by Grey Goose Vodka, enjoy dinner catered by A Legendary Event and kick up their heels to music from Blake Wise. The evening will also include a silent auction with packages that feature experiences at Atlanta’s top restaurants and hotels, jewelry, sports memorabilia, fantastic getaways and much more.
The 6th Annual Boots and Blue Jeans Gala is sponsored by Morrison Healthcare Food Services, Crothall Healthcare, Cousins Properties, Grey Goose Vodka and many others.
