“PULSE!” postponed, making way for “Salute!”
Lakeport, California – July 8, 2009. This year has been a time of review, reflection, and new directions. In an effort to be mindful of the resources available to us, the Lakeside Wellness Foundation has decided to postpone PULSE!, Strut Your Stuff for Wellness until next year, and re-design the structure of this years fundraising evening so that our efforts match our finances.
Our overreaching goal is to always be financially responsible to Sutter Lakeside Hospital as well as to our gracious community members who give of their time, resources, talents and hearts.
Instead of hosting a large high-cost event, we will be hosting an intimate live auction evening reception, “Salute!”, to be held in the Healing Gardens of Sutter Lakeside Wellness Center. By hosting the live auction at the Sutter Lakeside campus, we will negate any location rental fees, lavish decorating fees, extraneous catering fees, and many more fees associated with putting on a large event.

Various departments throughout the Hospital are relying on our continued fundraising efforts in order to purchase much needed life-saving equipment and continue to fund community health & wellness programs, so we must persevere and charge ahead with new and creative fundraising opportunities.
The community of Lake County relies on Sutter Lakeside Hospital to remain strong and viable so that we can continue to meet needs through successful services and programs.
