| NEW ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR NAMED FOR DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY MEDICINE |

Jeff Guyer, R.N., of Altoona has been promoted to administrative director of the department of Emergency Medicine at Altoona Regional Health System.
In his new role, Guyer will be responsible for the overall administrative and daily operations of the Emergency departments at both hospital campuses. He will also be instrumental in the upcoming consolidation project.
Prior to his appointment, Guyer served as a nursing supervisor at Bon Secours Hospital Campus for four years. He formerly served as director of Critical Care Services (including the Emergency department) for four years at Bon Secours-Holy Family Hospital and for seven years as the director of Critical Care Services (including the Emergency department) at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. For 13 years, he was a nurse in the Emergency department at Mercy Hospital |
