| Northwest Medical Center's Cindy Nichols Honored with LifePoint |

Winfield, Ala. (January 31, 2012) – Northwest Medical Center Chief Nursing Officer Cindy Nichols was honored recently with LifePoint Hospitals’ CNO of the Year award. The award, presented annually to one of LifePoint’s nearly 50 hospital CNOs, celebrates leadership and operational excellence in 2011.
“Cindy’s leadership is the driving force behind significant and continuous quality improvement at Northwest. She has been a part of the hospital’s team since 2000, and has grown through the years to exemplify the clinically focused, fiscally responsible nursing officer essential to quality outcomes and successful operations,” said LifePoint Hospitals Division CNO Anne Challis, who presented the award. “It is truly my pleasure to honor Cindy through this important award.”
