| Tailgate Cook Off Challenge to Benefit Children’s Miracle Network |

The Children’s Miracle Network of Southwest Louisiana will be hosting the first-ever CMN Tailgate Cook Off Challenge fundraiser on Saturday, November 8, at Cowboy Stadium. This fun family-oriented event will take place before the McNeese State University vs. Stephen F. Austin game and will put MSU Tailgaters to the test by challenging teams to prepare “knock out” dishes, all sure to please!
“Funds raised through the Tailgate Cook Off Challenge will stay right here in Southwest Louisiana to help improve pediatric medical care services and health education opportunities for thousands of children in our community,” says Kay Morgan, CHRISTUS St. Patrick Foundation Annual Giving Manager. “We invite all McNeese fans to participate and join in the fun. Dishes can be prepared at the Tailgate Challenge site, or anywhere on the MSU Campus.”
Registration fee is $25 per team. The contest will begin at 12:00 noon and will conclude at 5:30 p.m. Teams are limited to four chefs per team. Great prizes will be awarded to the first place team and the fan favorite. Deadline to register is Friday, October 31.
